Does anyone else’s mouth water when they talk about grilled chicken? …because mine does. Grilled chicken is one of my absolute favorite things to eat. I will admit when I bake or boil chicken on the stove i usually overcook it… but when i cook it on the grill I usually get it perfect every time.

What you’ll need for this recipe:

  • McCormick Grill Mates Seasoning Packet: For this recipe I used the Garlic Herb and Wine
  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast: Pound the chicken until its about 1/2″ thick.
  • Ziploc Bags: Gallon Sized Bags
  • Oil: I normally use olive oil, but use whatever you’d like.
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • Water

marinade ingredients

Instructions

  1. Take a zip loc bag and make the marinade according to the back of the seasoning packet.
  2. In another bag, place one piece of chicken… and then with a meat pounder, pound the meat until it’s about a 1/2″ thick.
  3. Remove from bag and place pounded chicken into the marinade. Repeating Until all chicken has been pounded and placed into the marinade.
  4. Stick chicken in the fridge and let marinade (for at least 15 mins) or longer.
  5. Once the chicken is done marinating, pre heat the grill. Once the grill is heated, place the chicken on the cooking grates, close the lid and let it cook. Cook for about 6 mins (just below medium) and then flip. Let the chicken cook on the other side for about another 6 mins. Check that the chicken is cooked all the way through with a meat thermometer. Inside temperature of chicken should be cooked to 165 degrees.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides and Enjoy!

Favorite sides:

  • Wild Rice
  • Baked Beans
  • Salad: Green, Potato, Broccoli, Etc.
  • Grilled Vegetables
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Roasted Potatoes
