Garlic Herb and Wine Grilled Chicken
Does anyone else’s mouth water when they talk about grilled chicken? …because mine does. Grilled chicken is one of my absolute favorite things to eat. I will admit when I bake or boil chicken on the stove i usually overcook it… but when i cook it on the grill I usually get it perfect every time.
What you’ll need for this recipe:

Instructions
- Take a zip loc bag and make the marinade according to the back of the seasoning packet.
- In another bag, place one piece of chicken… and then with a meat pounder, pound the meat until it’s about a 1/2″ thick.
- Remove from bag and place pounded chicken into the marinade. Repeating Until all chicken has been pounded and placed into the marinade.
- Stick chicken in the fridge and let marinade (for at least 15 mins) or longer.
- Once the chicken is done marinating, pre heat the grill. Once the grill is heated, place the chicken on the cooking grates, close the lid and let it cook. Cook for about 6 mins (just below medium) and then flip. Let the chicken cook on the other side for about another 6 mins. Check that the chicken is cooked all the way through with a meat thermometer. Inside temperature of chicken should be cooked to 165 degrees.

Ingredients
- 1 Packet McCormick Grill Mates Garlic Herb and Wine Seasoning Mix
- 1/4 Cup Oil
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
- 2 lbs Chicken
Instructions
- Take one Zip-loc bag , and make Marinade according to the directions on the back of the McCormick seasoning packet.
- In the other Zip-Loc bag place one chicken breast at a time. Pound chicken until its approximately 1/2" thick. Remove chicken from bag and place pounded chicken in the bag with the marinade. Repeat until all chicken has been pounded.
- Place Chicken in the fridge and let marinate for at least 15 mins or longer.
- Preheat Grill, Once grill is nice and hot and the grates are clean. Place chicken on the grates. Let cook for about 6-8 Mins (just below medium) and flip over. Cook for another 6-8 mins or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°
- Remove from grill and let chicken rest for about 5 mins. Once chicken has rested, slice and enjoy with your favorite sides.
