8 qt. Instant Pot See Notes for Slow Cooker Instructions
Ingredients
2lbs Beef Stew Meat
6Cups Diced Potatoes
4 Cups Carrots
3 Cups Peas
1 Medium Onion
2Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2TbspSoy Sauce
1Can Tomato Paste
1Cup Brown Sugar
5tsp Beef Boullion
4 Cups Water
1tsp Ground Thyme*
1tsp Grown Rosemary*
2tspMinced Garlic*
Instructions
In your Instant pot combine all ingredients for the sauce. Water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, tomato paste, Garlic, Beef Bouillon, thyme, rosemary, and brown sugar. Mix tomato paste until no streaks remain. Set sauce aside.
Now wash and dice the potatoes, carrots, and onion. Add into the instant pot with the sauce. Add in the peas.
Add in the beef stew meat, and then give everything a good stir.
Close the lid of your instant pot. Make sure the valve is set to seal. Turn on the instant pot. Use the Following Settings: Custom, High, 30 Mins.
Once the stew is finished, move the valve to vent, in order to release the pressure. Open the lid and give it a good stir. Scoop into bowls, and enjoy!
Notes
*If not using Ground Thyme or Rosemary use 2 Tsp *I love garlic, I find I use a heaping teaspoon.Beef Stew can be made in the crock pot. Follow the same Instructions for assembling the stew. then set your crock pot to Low for 6-8 hours. or on high for 4-6 hours. make sure beef is cooked all the way through before eating.
