Berry Salad
For all the berry lovers out there, this salad is for you. Crunchy lettuce topped with sweet, tangy berries, mixed with mandarin oranges and some candied almonds. Oh man! My mouth just waters thinking about it all.
The best thing about this salad is that there is minimal prep work, and it comes together so fast! Only thing I have to worry about, are the berries disappearing before my family has the chance to put them on their salad.
Now this salad is amazing all on its own, so i don’t use a salad dressing. If you want to add some salad dressing go right ahead. Some salad dressing ideas that come to mind would be: a poppy seed dressings, or a fruity vinaigrette.
Normally my family and I just have the salad with the berries, oranges, and almonds but adding in some grilled chicken would be absolutely amazing, and make this salad a little more hearty.
